That error is basically telling you MapServer can't find the your mapfile.
Likely the path to that file is wrong or you have something misspelled. If
you look in windows explorer what is your full path to the file? Is there a
folder before the ms4w folder or is something spelled wrong? Something like
C:/somefolder/ms4w/apps/GeoMOOSE. If so that could be your issue. MS4W and
GeoMOOSE expect the MS4W to be at the root of a drive.

Also please cc the list so the answers to these questions can be found by
others in the future.

Thanks,
Brian

Brian,

Thanks for the suggestion. Here is what I got when I used Firefox and
firebug. When I tried to run the link below in a browser, I received this
message in the browser window: msLoadMap(): Unable to access file.
(/ms4w/apps/GeoMoose/MyMaps/roads.map)

Any ideas on where I should look now?

Hi Clinton,

It could be a projection or path issue. Can you use firefox and firebug to
look at the source of the image that is not loading for you? Then you can
take that URL and paste it into another browser window. That should give
you some hints as to why the layer is not loading. Hopefully this makes
sense, if not just say so and I can give some more detailed instructions.

Hi,

I have several mapserver applications that I built using the mapserver
tutorial. Now I am desirous to add more features to the template, Geomoose
has the features that I need. I followed the Geomoose tutorial, but when I
brought the countydemo page, my shapefile says it is loading but nothing
ever comes up. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix it? Thanks.
