[Geomoose-users] Multiple Parcel Select

I'm not sure if you mean if I can step forward and allow the http.send to pass and what the result is or the service that is attempting to potentially be run by it or...? My javascript skills are not superb and I fail at terminology it seems but I will do what I can.

Nelson,

Can you post the service definition?

The error seems to be the same:

Error on line 692 of GeoMoose.js:

http.send(postData);}

I’m an unsure if I should continue to work with 1.4 or wait until 1.6; I am sort of hanging in limbo as I don’t really want to have to port the code over as I am essentially deciding whether to port from 1.2 to 1.4 vs. 1.2 to 1.6.

I’m also unsure of the features of 1.6 as I know the documentation hasn’t been updated yet so until then I will postpone as long as possible.

Thanks Brian.

By replacing the GeoMOOSE.js and main.js file that might fix the menu issue in IE7. I’ve attached it for you to try.

I’m actually making good progress on it, but was developing on 1.2 so I needed a newer version to accept the http parameters that I wanted to provide. I then upgraded to 1.4 and the next day 1.6 was sent out but it unfortunately was not working for IE7 so for now I have stopped developing but yes, it does require some improvising.

Nelson, I don’t believe this is possible with any services we have setup now in GeoMOOSE. I think you would need to write your own PHP mapscript service to do this. I think the select.php might serve as some example code to get started.

Maybe others have some other ideas.

Has anyone had any success implementing a multi-parcel select into GeoMoose. I know you can return multiple search results but what I'd like to acheive is searching for say a particular type of matching criteria, say all parcels owned by a certain individual, and have them all light up. I don't want someone to do this for me just an idea of how they wenty about implementing it. Will I need to develop my own service as a substitute for using mapserver's nquery? I notice the search uses nquery too but it only creates a list of results, it doesn't select them... Hopefully someone can offer me a good way to approach this.

Thanks,

Nelson Soto
