[Geomoose-users] Printing the Legend With the Map

Legends are always tough on a web map because the number of layers is dynamic and thus the space needed to provide a legend can greatly vary. The most common solution to this is to make a static legend with the key layers you want and put them into an image file. This file can then be added to the PDF template, see http://geomoose.org/howto/print_template.html.

Subject: [Geomoose-users] Printing the Legend With the Map

I have been trying to figure out a way to print a legend of the currently visible layers along with the map, but it seems such a feature doesn't exist. Just printing the map out with no reference as to what the symbolys on it mean seems fairly useless. Has anybody else tried to do something similar, or have a possible solution?

Thanks,
Jeff
