[Geomoose-users] Add a total length function to select.php

I would like to be able to select some lines and then within the results
shown, display the total length of all the selected lines.  I am using
shapefiles and each line has an attribute (PIPE_LEN) which has the segment
length calculated.  Would I be able to do this within select.php or will it
have to be javascript?
