[Geomoose-users] PSC Update: Progress on Versioned Docs

Most of those problems were learning curve issues for me:
1) Learning to manage a project in the wild.
2) Learning to manage a project where versions and source revision are important.
3) Learning to be diligent with releases.

Via GeoMoose (I miss my "MOOSE") and other projects I've gotten more disciplined about it but I think for 2.6 and the future the PSC should appoint a release manager and for 2.6 we should develop the "release checklist" to make sure that all of the SOP is followed before making something official.

it, it gets tagged.  Otherwise support gets too hard....

morning "/" pointed the docs built from trunk.  Back
in Denver we discussed that this is sub-optimal since
very few users actually work straight out of trunk.
Sorry JimK, you will ned to use "/trunk" to find it
into the future.  When we finalize the 2.6 docs, we
will mark that as the "current" branch in the doc
build scripts and point "/" to that.

I'm really not sure it's necessary as we do not
                  collect, require, nor disseminate PII.
