[Geomoose-users] Adding images to header

This is really more of a CSS question than a GeoMoose question, but maybe somebody has been down this road before me.

I'm trying to insert an agency logo as an image on the header of my GeoMoose 2.6 application. I'd like to set this up so the image is an anchor for an HTML link to the agency.

I was able to set this up easily enough. But then I tested on 4 different browsers- FireFox, IE 8, Chrome, and Safari. It worked perfectly on three of them. Would you like to guess which browser won't behave?

So what's happening, when the <img> tag is used in the header section of the main html file, the header banner expands, and the toolbar, links bar, and the zoom to control on the catalog are all obscured and not usable. I've tried adjusting CSS settings- height, padding, margin, for example, but no use. Again, it's only IE that's giving me trouble. Has anyone else had this experience, and found a workaround?
