[Geomoose-users] how to add a disclaimer

Eli and others,

It turns out that there was a bug in the 2.2 version of disclaimer.js.  I did fill out a ticket for the issue.

When searching through different geoMOOSE sites I came across http://maps.sco.wisc.edu/WHAIFinder/ which has a really nice disclaimer.  I would like to figure out how to do something like that - as long as I am not stepping on the developers toes.

You may want to search the documentation.  I found a few more things:

If these don't seem sufficient, please consider opening a ticket with specific suggestions for changes, ideally in patch form.

Do you want a popup, or a Map layer specific disclaimer?


You could even use a default layer set to display over the map as a way of installing a disclaimer.


The layer specific version can be handled inside of MapServer via a MAP configuration.
