[Geomoose-users] Adding a custom tab

I wanted to try adding a new tab to the GM 2.6.1 display, one that will be there on startup (and throughout the session) in addition to the catalog tab.  I referred to the documentation: http://www.geomoose.org/howto/tabs.html.  While that explains how to declare/instantiate the tab object, it doesn't cover how to actually have the tab display.  How do I do this?
