I'm in favor of giving Jitsi a try.

Needing to install a proprietary application to use Zoom is quite a hassle and generally requires me to start a VM or be stuck with my phone.  I haven't had any luck with Zoom's SIP/H.323 endpoints working with a FLOSS client either (I get the impression they are designed for hardware IP phones).
