[GeoMoose-users] Identify tool using TinyOWS layer

TinyOWS 1.2.0 from git.

The SQL appears valid, as I get all the correct attributes.

Will do some debugging through the browser, and see if I find anything.

Thanks,
Paul

Some of the things I've done while trying to track down GeoMoose issues are:

1. Use the Developer tools in the browser to examine the network traffic between the browser and the server when doing an Identify.
2. Copy the last SQL command from the TinyOWS log into the SQL tool of pgAdmin and see what response it gives.

Which version of TinyOWS are you using?

Hi Brent,

Thanks for the feedback.

Getting the same behavior. Also tried some census data that is in 4269 with the same results.

With both layers, it is consistent. 😊

Error

Server error. Check network logs.

Hi Paul,

  In your mapbook, for the "tinyows-wfs-parcels" mapsource , try changing

        <config name="srs" value="EPSG:26917" />

to

       <config name="srs" value="EPSG:4269" />

I seem to recall having trouble with that.

Best Regards,

Brent Fraser

Hello,

Map is rendering fine, with proper labeling using the [print_key] field, but when using the “Identify” tool it errors.

“Identify” results:

Error

Server error. Check network logs.

Not a public server, but I am using Geomoose 3.9.1 beta (578245e) on Rocky Linux with TinyOWS 1.2.0, MapServer 7.6.4.

POSTGIS="3.2.1 5fae8e5" [EXTENSION] PGSQL="140" GEOS="3.10.2-CAPI-1.16.0" SFCGAL="1.3.7" PROJ="8.2.1" GDAL="GDAL 3.4.3, released 2022/04/22" LIBXML="2.9.7" LIBJSON="0.13.1" LIBPROTOBUF="1.3.0" WAGYU="0.5.0 (Internal)" TOPOLOGY RASTER

Logs:

  1.  Mapbook.xml<https://pastebin.com/dhMN0RP3> – tried auto="true" and CDATA
  2.  Citylkpt21.map<https://pastebin.com/2Z9X2juu>
  3.  Tinyows.log<https://pastebin.com/teyzfAw2>
  4.  Mapserver.log<https://pastebin.com/Txf9MT1T>

Any thoughts are appreciated, as Postgresql, Apache, etc. logs, with all debugging ramped up are giving me nothing.

Thanks,

Paul
