Actually though, having said that, you might want to think about retaining MapServer as a conduit to those other service types for configuration consistency. Mapserver can easily act as a WMS/WFS client with minimal performance overhead.

Is there any 3rd party providers that host GeoMOOSE sites?
In addition, Can GeoMOOSE work with GeoServer or QGIS Server, or is it very much MapServer centric?
