Hey Pieter,

thanks for your nice reply. I haven´t used cartoview yet. But had a quick look
at the install path on ubuntu: http://cartologic.github.io/installation_ubuntu/

It should not be hard to install it with vagrant. I used something similar 
 to install geonode 2.6 from source. Have a look at my bootstrap.sh here

Could surely be done better but it worked so far. Currently I´m using
geonode directly on osx with is fine for my needs.
