[GeoNode-devel] How to connect / synchronize two GeoNode Instances

Hi Florian,
We have the same problem. We tried to export layers and import into the new instance, but even if GeoNode offers such capability, it is not perfect. We have no automatic synchronization at the moment, but I would like to work on that.
One possibility would be doing a selective replica of geoserver data (rsync+pglogical) based on some rules, and then run "manage.py updatelayers" on geonode, but you would lose the metadata. If you need a deeper integration with geonode, some selective synchronization with the geonode database is needed.

We can even have a chat if you want to further discuss that.

Cheers,
FraFra
