Hi all
I've done the package install of 2.0.1 on 12.04 at
http://geonode.inasafe.org and as superuser everything seemed to work.
But after adding some other users and running a workshop the following
issues emerged:
1) the upload progress bar completed and the page hung even through the
upload was successful
2) many uploads were not successful, for no obvious reason.
3) some users could not see layers they had uploaded.
4) Users who were not superusers could not see or download any other
layers even though default permissions were in place for public access.
5) Although the layers that are there are working via WMS (e.g. in QGIS
or Geoserver layer preview) they are failing with the following types of
errors:
a) maps fail like this:
<ServiceException>
Can't obtain the schema for the required layer.
:buildings_osm_maumere layer does not exist.
</ServiceException>
b) layers fail like this:
<ServiceException code="LayerNotDefined" locator="layers">
Could not find layer geonode:buildings_osm_maumere
</ServiceException>
I'm hoping that these error will point at some obvious misconfiguration...
thanks
Gavin
