The error is that GeoNode can't read this list https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/blob/master/geonode/settings.py#L605, properly. It may depend of an incorrect settings import.

Hi Simone,
actually I didn't modify such file and/or MAP_BASELAYER.
What do you mean, saying settings are not imported correctly?

Eugenio, perhaps you modified the MAP_BASELAYERS from the settings?https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/blob/master/geonode/utils.py#L266 or the settings are not imported correctly

Dear all,
I just solved my problems on geoserver version provided by geonode.
Now a new problem appears on saving maps.
I have no errors on creating a map, when I save a new map I got an error,
The server returned an error: 500 Internal Server Error
so my apache2 error log havs:
[Tue Sep 29 09:47:45 2015] [error] [client x.x.x.x] Premature end of script headers: wsgi.py, referer: http://my_server_name/maps/new
[Tue Sep 29 09:47:45 2015] [notice] child pid 15764 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
Actually on maps page of geonode I see the new map, without title and thumbnail.
If I click to view such map a page error appears:

Django Version:

Any hints on this issue?
