[GeoNode-users] how to change characters in attribute table of an uploaded layer

Hi geonode-users,

I have uploaded a layer having characters in Portuguese in the shapefiles's
attribute table.

Once in Geonode, it shows incorrect characters, as seen in the picture
below.

Is there a way to change these caracters within Geonode and to show them in
Portuguese  ?
