[GeoNode-users] Upload problem

Checking the local_settings.py with @afabiani (many thanks for your
support!) it seems ok.
The issue, maybe related to the DNS configuration in
/etc/network/interfaces.
I write into it both dns-nameservers and dns-domain:

dns-search izs.it
dns-nameservers 10.100.100.25 172.16.0.22 172.16.0.23 172.16.0.28

...what should I verify?

When I upload a shapefile it is received by Geoserver (the layer is in the
list and the preview works), but Geonode responds with an "[Errno 110]
Connection time out" (the same error I can find into the apache error.log)
after some minutes.
