[GeoNode-users] Set active layer

Hi list,

I'm developing a small form into the GeoExplorer view that does some stuff with the overlays and I need to set the selected layer of the layers tree from code . Is that possible?

I've looking into the code but I can't some kind of function like setSelectedLayer or something like that...

Could anyone point me to the right direction?
