[GeoNode-users] manage.py migrate error

Hi Angelos,

Thanks for the advice. We have already installed GeoNode and it works successfully. We are now trying to customise it.
I’m not sure if a full reinstall is necessary?

We are not very familiar with Ansible.
I am also working on Ubuntu 14.04, your Ansible link works on 16.04.

Does this matter?

Paul

Hi Paul,

I would recommend using the ansible role to install GeoNode.
https://github.com/GeoNode/ansible-geonode

I hope that helps.

Best,
Angelos

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can assist with an error that I am getting when working through the setup steps of the 'customise the look and feel' section (http://docs.geonode.org/en/latest/tutorials/admin/customize_lookfeel/customize/setup_admin.html).

When running

$ python manage.py migrate

I get the following ImportError message:

I have installed Geonode using the full installation on Ubuntu version 14.04

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

Paul
