[GeoNode-users] set default_style_id by reading geoserver layer

Hi list,

I found out that I have the 'default_style_id' field set to null for all my
layers in GeoNode 2.4 (not sure how I end up with this, probably
update_layers?).

Therefore I would like to write a script that for each layer reads the
default style for the corresponding layer in geoserver and sets the correct
id in GeoNode.
Does anyone have suggestion on which existing function can I take advantage
of?
