You can debug if that view is invoked correctly when logging into the master site.

I presume I have a misconfiguration, since in my site I have rightly the new user in the right panel,

and in the master site I have nobody in such panel, but the new user can login in the master, which is not correct.


Where do you think I have to act, to sort out this issue?

Hi Eugenio,

no this should not happen, we have a dedicated View to filter out users not belonging to the site [1]. Check that in the admin -> site-people, the user is not listed in the right panel for the site you don't want him to access. Otherwise can be a misconfiguration of geosites.

Hi all,


in my geonode (2.4) configured as multisites, I created a new user from one geosite.

The new user can login in the geosite, but it can access also the master site.

Is that normal? I think it would be better it would access only in the geosite from where

it has been registered.

Am I wrong? or am I missing something? In case is there a place where I can

configure the user access?
