Hi, that is the standard django sites framework, it doesn't create a web site. See https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.8/ref/contrib/sites/

There is a option of ‘site’ in admin panel. It lets you “add site” to geonode. How this works? Where is this site created, and how it can be accessed?
