Then it is not a memory problem.
Which version of GeoNode are you using?
Try to stop GeoServer, remove the cached copy - which seems to be
corrupted - of the EPSG database which should be in
/tmp/Geotools/Databases/HSQL (just remove this HSQL directory, it will
be create again on next GeoServer start)
Then start GeoServer again
