Hi Marcelo,

GeoNode can be used for production setups and is used as such by a huge number of organisations. You must harden the host OS and the applications themselves like for example described here:
[ https://docs.geonode.org/en/3.x/install/basic/index.html#fourth-step-secure-your-production-deployment-change-the-admin-passwords-and-oauth2-keys | https://docs.geonode.org/en/3.x/install/basic/index.html#fourth-step-secure-your-production-deployment-change-the-admin-passwords-and-oauth2-keys ]

If you use project most of those is done by changing .env variables.

Yours,
Florian

Hello Marcelo,
Other users and contributors will give you a better answer. When you set GeoNode for production, in my understanding your GeoNode project website is ready to be public. You have it running in a public IP sharing and consuming information. In general, you make GeoNode available on the internet for what it was made for.

I hope my answer make any sense.

Regards

Julierme
