[geos-devel] geos 2.1.2 missing '.so'

Thank you very much. I've updated the autogen.sh
to invoke libtoolize --force --copy so to avoid future
problems of this kind.

Anyway, I confirm I have no problems using shared
libraries w/out the .so extension here (gnu/Linux/gcc-3.4.3)
