PSC members,

I'd like to get official approval from you to engage in the OSGeo Project
Sponsorship program. The upshot of the Program is:

- OSGeo acts as the banker, invoicing sponsors and holding funds in trust
- 25% of funds are put towards OSGeo general revenue, for thinks like
promotion and marketing
- The rest is disbursed at *our* direction

Things we might want to direct?

- maintainer to review all outstanding bugs!
- port forward cascaded union and new faster buffer
- investigate multi-platform issues

I am soliciting funds from the PostGIS community in addition to the $5000
Safe Software pledge already generously provided.
