 If I recall correctly the reduce operation returns a geometry with a
 corresponding precision model. And I thought this to be sufficient to have
 the analysis operation run in reduced precision mode?

 I'll see whether I can dig up my test geometries again and produce a test.
 But I definitely recall seeing a difference with and without the reduce
 operation.
