[geotk] Problems beginning with GeoToolkit

Hi,

I'm new to GeoToolkit and I'm having some questions:

1) My goal is to paint on a map a zone (which will be a Polygon with "n"
vertex). Is there any class that can represent that? Some method to know if
a point is contained in it?

2) Sometimes I have to display Lines too....

Is there any class that represents (not graphically) that kind of things?

I was using JTS, but it doesn't take in account things like geodesic...
