compiling the new XDRIVER

It seems like you have forgotten to uncomment the EXTRA_CFLAGS and
LDFLAGS in the Gmakefile.   If you are on a Sun you have to uncomment 
line 7 and 8 in the Gmakefile.   The make program can't find the 
include files of X-windows bacause of this.
