best book C language

[Angela Pereira]

I found myself very confortable with Kernighan and Ritchie , The C Programming Language, 2nd edition Prentice Hall.

Another book for functions etc... is The Waite Microsoft C Bible by Nabajyoti  barkatkati. Howard Sams & Comp. 1989... 
Even if you don't programme in Microsoft C, it is still useful.
