problem with grassland for solaris 2.4

Thanks for the help. The symbolic link did the trick.
Another question:
When dragging the elevation layer to the map viewer I get an error:

     syntax error in expression "1 - elevation at PERMANENT +1"

Why am I getting this error?
Other raster layers are displayed fine.
