More on the projection issue -

If you have a question about projections and GRASS, the person to
ask is Gerald (Jerry) Evenden.  The last email address I have for him is
gie at charon.er.usgs.gov.  I think he wrote the proj lib, and I'm sure 
he could answer any questions.

He might still be subscribed to the other GRASS list.
