[GRASS5] configure.in missing png and pq checks???

I was in the process of adding checks for libz and zlib.h to
configure.in when I noticed the checks for the PNG library and
PostgreSQL seem to be missing.  They're in the configure script, but not
in configure.in.  What gives?
