[GRASS5] A request for control

Hi Bernhard,

I am very much in favor of Markus' schedule. I also appreciate all the hard work you
all have been doing.

I always try to pay attention to the developers' list. For the most part, the
suggestions from users have been in line with what the developers are planning or are
working on. Many of their questions deal with running GRASS and capabilities that are
present in GRASS (but they just have not read the manuals to know they exist). Another
big topic is importing data from other sources. Usually these exist or the developers
have been debugging them to work in GRASS 5. I have also directed some people to join
the GRASS mailing list because of their ideas. In the future, I can post some of these
ideas myself, but I thought it would come better from the actual users.

Overall, GRASS users are pleased to see that GRASS is still available and progressing.
Occassionally, we will receive an e-mail simply saying thanks for the hard work. I have
passed some of these along to Markus.

Thanks,
Lisa
