[GRASS5] gstat brings (more) geostatistics to GRASS

Dear GRASS community,
Gstat is a program for geostatistical modelling (variogram modelling),
spatial prediction (kriging and family) and sequential simulation. From
version 2.3.3 on, it can be compiled with grass5 support. This means that it
can read point data (site lists) and raster data (CELL or FCELL maps) from a
GRASS database, and write results as raster (FCELL) maps to the GRASS
database.
You can read more about this on http://www.gstat.org/grass.html
It would be fairly trivial to write GRASS-style shell scripts as wrappers
for the gstat command file. Anyone interested in helping me with that one?
Best regards,
