[GRASS5] Strange behaviour in d.zoom

Hello all
Here's a real strange one. I once ran d.zoom and received a usage
message that said a raster map was required. Unfortunately, I have not
been able to reproduce it, d.zoom has worked as usual ever since. Not
only do I not know how this happened, but it shouldn't require a raster
map since a user may not be viewing any raster files, only vector or
site files.
Has anyone else experienced this? I have no idea what happened or if
there is anything that can be done. Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated.
