About the name. I do not think that "exp" is needed as a name component.
(It does not hurt otherwise, so this is just remark for future namings.)

A cvs_snapshot from the development branch of the stable tree 
should not be called "exp". In fact there are no stable
cvs_snapshot. They are all experimental. :)

Also note that all 5.1.x tarballs, cvs_snapshots or others things
will always be development and experimental.
This is a result of adopting the namin convention of the Linux-Kernel.
When we think we are reaching a stable state, we will rename it to 5.2.x.
