The mail was delivered.

I don't know what was causing the problem.  My isp has undergone a lot of
changes relatively recently; "pop.rt66.com" should be an alias for
"ns2.rt66.com" but maybe they'r changing that too <shrug>.

The isp is now tangled up in a contract dispute with the contractor that runs
their network and I could potentially lose service at any time.  I have a
qmail intallation on my own network, but I don't have a domain name to make
it useful.  This is frustrating.
