[GRASS5] V.DIGIT??

Hi all,

I have a question that I am not sure if  makes any sense, but here is: when we 
import a map, several folders/files are created (dig, dig_cats, dig_att, 
dig_plus, reg, hist and so on). So, what I would like to know is, which one 
of those files v.digit uses to create a image? which ones are required?
