Dear developers,

I would like to see some extend to v.[in|out].ogr to use layer creation option via v.in.ogr like ogr2ogr offers.
Frank Warmerdam already suggested this on GRASS5 to use OGR more effectivly with GRASS (-lco and -dsco from ogr2ogr).

Likewise something similar to the ogr2ogr -update and -append flags would be useful.
