Subject: Installation of GDAL Libraries

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries

1-I have installed the grass and I have also run it successfully.
2-Now how i can get the GDAL Libraries ?
3-How to Install them so that r.in.gdal should work ?
