[GRASS5] Further information about classification algorithms

Hi all,
I'd like to get some more information about the clustering, maximum 
likelihood and maximum a posteriori algorithms used by GRASS. 
Documentation on commands reports (i.cluster; i.maxlik, i.smap) is not 
enough for my purposes.
How can i get this info??
