Hello,

I have put online the alpha-3 tarball.

The MISC modules have been fixed and added
The compilation bugs reported by users are added.

The libgeoref has been extracted from v.digit
A part of the curses interface from v.digit has been extracted to
libvask.

POSIX: signal -> sigaction

and more (MAN pages suffixed by section, etc.)

The last of the alpha serie will be alpha-4 which will include the
IMAGERY modules.

With alpha-4, all the historical sources from CERL, including alpha
programs, will have been fixed (except xgrass which is dropped and will
be rewritten from scratch).

With alpha-4, I will published the features of KerGIS 1.0. Once these
are obtained, 1.0 beta will be published (just for bug cleaning) and
finally KerGIS 1.0 will be released 2 months after 1.0 beta.

KerGIS 1.0 is planned for september 2004.

Cheers,
