[GRASS5] re-make gmake53

I finally looked at /usr/local/bin/gmake53 and see that it is the cause 
of my troubles. It contains paths that no longer exist. For example:

SRC=/Users/kirkw/grass5_dev/grass53_exp_2004_03_13/src
CMD=/Users/kirkw/grass5_dev/grass53_exp_2004_03_13/src/CMD
UNUSED=/Users/kirkw/grass5_dev/grass53_exp_2004_03_13/unused
HEADER=head.powerpc-apple-darwin7.3.0
HASX=yes
HASMotif=no
MAKE=make

The build path is now truffula:~/grass5_dev/grass-5.3.0/

I tried 'make distclean', but no go. What is thee command to re-create 
/usr/local/bin/gmake53?
