There is a bit of hope:

- I have doxygenized all available functions descriptions from the
  "GRASS programmer's manual" and merged into GRASS 5.3-CVS/5.7-CVS.
- some chapters are also already doxygenized and put into CVS

Like this you can build the documentations:

GRASS 5.3-CVS (maybe called 5.5 now):
 make docs

GRASS 5.7-CVS:
 make htmldocs
or
 make pdfdocs

If I had more time this could be made a cronjob and posted online
every week.

Here everybody (skilled) is invited to participate.
Once that page is useful enough, it should become doxygenized as well
