[GRASS5] d.what.vect and fields

Hi all,

I've been trying to understand exactly how
fields are used with regards to attributea database connections.
As my understanding goes, each one represents a link to
a different data source. Let me know if this is incorrect.

If I do understand correctly, then I was wondering if there
was anyway to get d.what.vect to output information about
fields other than field 1?
