5.7's s.out.ascii --
It outputs a vector points file, not an old sites format file.

I was thinking of adding an -o flag to make input= from an old sites
file.

The motivation is that v.in.sites currently doesn't make a table and
rather do all the work to add it, a script which did 

s.out.ascii -o -a -d | v.in.ascii

might be easier.


I think I just talked myself into not adding the flag & hoping that
v.in.sites gets fixed.
