[GRASS5] v.mkgrid GRASS 5.7

My question: 
Is there anyone who is working on upgrading v.mkgrid to GRASS 5.7?

-> I can try to upgrade it.

But it takes some time! - I am not familiar with GRASS 5.7 Vector API.
