Subject: North Arrow and Scale Bar for NVIZ

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: GRASS 6.1.cvs (2005)

Wish for GRASS 6: 
 
It would be really helpful to be able to display a more intelligent north 
arrow and scale bar from within NVIZ, for inclusion of image dumps in 
publications. Currently, the north arrow is only legible some of the time, 
and the scale bar object seems to be non-functioning.
