[GRASS5] [bug #3809] (grass) Print display manager (to file) does not print graphics (scale, grid)

Subject: Print display manager (to file) does not print graphics (scale, grid)

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries
GRASS Version: both 6.0.1 and 6.1.cvs

Clicking "print raster and vector maps using ps.map" with scale and/or grid on display and printing to file or paper does not produce scale or grid in printed product. This would be nice to have, as creating a snapshot of monitor using "save display to image file" in either .png or .xwd format does not produce satisfactory resolution for many report-printing jobs.

Also, "save diaplay to image file" using .png format produces vector components that are too small (i.e. thin lines, symbols and text too small).
